About me

Tim's passion for writing started when he was in 5th grade and his teacher read two of his papers out loud to the class. This inspired him to do better and continue to improve. In 7th grade, he started to write poetry and published a few poems. In high school, he continued to focus mainly on poetry and, before graduating, decided to pursue a career in film as a screenwriter.

Tim began writing screenplays during his college years and came up with the concept of Heaven's Wars at the age of 18. This idea evolved into much more when he was 23 and he wrote the first script in a month. Tim wrote the first five scripts for Heaven's Wars over a period of five years and was working on the 6th and 7th when he made a choice, at the advice of friends and family, to format his scripts into books.

Some of Tim's inspirations come from comic books such as X-Men. His biggest influence on poetry came from Metallica's James Hetfield. Childhood novels Tim enjoyed were Maniac Maggie, My side of the Mountain and others. As an adult, he has been influenced by Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Rings and R.A Salvatore's Drizzt series. Other influences in Tim's storytelling are the original Star Wars trilogy, the Crow and other movies from various genres.

Tim's ultimate goal is to make his books into movies, as that was his intention from the start. He is visual and prefers to show people rather than tell them. Tim has other projects and story ideas, which include an idea for episodes 7, 8, and 9 of Star Wars. At this time, his focus, time and energy are on Heaven's Wars.
